Mico Poonoosamy is a PhD in Education from Monash University, with a diploma in education and Honours in Humanities. His research in global citizenship education was funded by the Australian Commonwealth and Monash University. Mico is a recipient of the Josai International University President`s Grant for his research about the implementation of the 2020 English Education Reform Plan in Japan.
